Hi Joe,
Seeing as this is a running discussion I guess I should comment on the link between running and blunts.
A blunt, is a street name used to describe a marijuana and tobacco cigar.
There are a couple of things to watch out for if you smoke and run. The first is hyperthermia. Marijuana affects temperature regulation in the body and there has been at least one case of a young well acclimatised person over-heating after smoking and running. Here is a URL with some details
http://www.drugwatch.org/Documents/MRR32.html
There are several other factors, which relate primarily to the ingestion method (blunt rather than a bong) and the addition of tobacco which increase the likelihood of cardivascular degeneration. This means that over time your lungs will get less efficient and you will find it harder to run.
There are some "good" things about blunts however which largely don't relate to running. These include the increased high you get by combining the nictine (upper) with the psychoactive effects of marijuana. The fact that it burns slower than a joint means you can share it around and extinguish it and relight it. It is also easier to disguise.
The short story is don't blunt and run! If you smoke a blunt then do it by itself.
Regards
Paul
