Hi,

Hamstring injuries can take a long time to heal. Often we start to use the muscle again before it has healed enough. The best advice is to give it rest for longer than you can bear then when you start running again start slowly.

You seemed to have tried many of the normal activities that one would use for these injuries. Apart from giving it time to heal, daily stretching and massage can help speed recovery. Massage is often overlooked because of the varying scientific results on its effectiveness. I have found it to be very valuable in speeding recovery.

Here are some other sites that may help with more information although I suspect that you will know much of this already.

Hope the above helps,

Paul
