Well done on your result. I was a little bit sceptical when you first posted but considering the conditions it is an excellent time that you should be proud of.

The fact that you hydrated properly during the race can have a big impact on how you feel at the finish. Your strength relative to others was alot to do with the fluid intake. Your carbo loading, and taper period would also have had a positive effect.

Be sure to take it easy over the next few days and weeks. When you get back to running, take it easy and slow.
