Thanks for the positive comments about RunCoach. It is currently in development and hopefully should see more improvements before the initial release.
I will try and answer each of your questions:
1) There is no report in the beta 2d version which compares actual and planned. It is a good suggestion and I will add it to the list of enhancements. The only way to do this now is via the graphing function. There is a switch to get the actual distances or times displayed at the top of the graphs.
2) I usually equate the 400m track to a 440yard track as the 2.5 yard difference is usually covered in less than a second. This is about the accuracy of the interval times and usually far less than the spread of a normal interval session. I am planning to add a switch for times based on a 440yard track.
3) Once paid for there will be no additional charges right through to the full version 1 release.
4) I will add a single click option to display the current plan. I am not sure the best way but probably the tool bar as you suggest.
