Hi again Paul

At the weekend I ran in the British Inter counties championships, and had a moderate run (you can see the official results of my race here)

it says I came last, although in the race i overtook 7-10 people, although they later dropped out.

My question is this - how do I improve my XC speed? I have much more speed on the road (5 miles 32 mins), but when it comes down to XC I am fatigued very quickly. My current speedwork schedule consists of 1 or 2 days a week, when I do 2 or 4 reps of a 1 mile sprint at 5.5 mim/mile pace, with 3 mins recovery. The rest of the week I usually do longer runs of 5 - 10 miles, at 7 min/mile pace.
