I have my last long run last night, 17 days before the marathon race day. It turns out that I get my legs crawled the whole 42.195km, and finished around 3am something. Here is my experience. 0-28km manage to keep that pace at 19mins/4km, glad that I past my normal long run length of 24km

29-32km slows down to 20mins/4km, it's 2am something, the last time I heard anybody around me.

33-36km slows down to 21mins/4km, isotonic drinks are running out, my legs run at their pace without responding to my command

37-42km slows down to 24mins/4km, I can hardly feel all my limbs, my mind in a state of ultra-concentration.

The next 15mins (actually I have no idea how long it has been), I walked like a robot, something flush all over my body so wildly. I realised that it is because of low K+ and Na+ level, and I was worrying about my heart for it need these ions to beat. I get myself to somewhere near a carriageway so that somebody would discover me in case I black out. I seriously considered to rush to a hospital to get a dripping, I keep telling myself that I got to hang on, or my adrenaline level will drop, and so would my blood pressure, but I managed to find a shop and get another bottle of isotonic, the best things is, a taxi is nearby, its so good to be back home.

Next time, I would try a full carbo loading protocol before the race-day, hope it would do me some good. In the mean time, I would rest for a week, so my knees can recover from the worn.
