Details about what the notation means in the interval session comments can be found by pausing the cursor over the description of the interval session. An explanation will appear after a second or two and your hints are on.

Basically the session described is a 10 min warmup followed by a 3 lots of 1 mile run in 7 mins and 9 seconds. You start the next run 9 minutes and 30 seconds after you started the previous run. ie every 9 mins and 30 secs you run a mile trying to finish the mile in about 7 mins and 9 secs. After these intervals you finish with a 10 minute cool-down.

The 'r' standards for 'repeat on' rather than 'rest'.
