Bernd,
Thank-you for your positive comments about RunCoach. I will try and help out with the questions you have asked.
1) The graphs should be quite readable. I have tried it with many different inputs and they seem okay. Your problem may be caused by one very high mileage day and the others being not so high. If you could backup your data to a .rbk file and email the file to me then I can have a look at it and fix it then I can email the fixed file back to you and you can restore it.
2) RunCoach normally sets the default number of days, and speedwork based on it's classification of you. For a complete description on how to set up a plan look at this answer in the discussion database: http://www.sportscoach.com.au/runcoachdiscus/_disc1/0000001d.htm When preparing for a marathon the most important thing is slowly building up the length of the long run. Based on what you have told me perhaps the best setup might be 6 days training with 1 speedwork day. (During the base building phase you will be doing fartlek). Remember to make sure you take it easy on the 'easy' days and if it gets too much the take an 'easy' day or two off. Also don't run too hard on the long run. You are just trying to build time on your feet.
Hope the above helps,
Paul
