Bill,
I am planning to make all data saved upward compatible from the beta 1 version. This means anyone who enters data from beta 1 onwards should have no trouble upgrading through to the final release.
There were some significant release changes from the alpha versions. If you like I can upgrade it manually for you. Just send me a backup copy of the files in the /data directory before you upgraded to beta 1 and I will transfer them to beta 1 format.
