Paul,
RunCoach is able to accept time information in a variety of ways. The first thing you should do is ensure that you have the latest version (Ver1.0beta1c). You can find this out in the 'about' menu item.
In this version just holding the cursor over the top of a time entry field while show a help message which tells you how to input time. The details are as follows:
Runcoach uses the letters d,h,m,s
d - days
h - hours
m - minutes
s - seconds
I have specifically avoided using the ':' symbol because of it's ambiguity and the fact that you have to use a shift key to enter data.
Some sample time entry's are as follows:
1 minute 55 seconds - 1m55s 2 hours 34 minutes - 2h34m 10.56 seconds - 10.56s 1 day 2 hours 23 minutes 10 seconds - 1d2h23m10s
All time fields accept data in the same way.
All the best,
Paul
