The eVend registration mechanism has given me the most problems! It requires quite specific browsers (Netscape 3, and IE 3.02) as it uses Java to implement the transaction process. I have also had problems transferring it to the new ISP. It does however have the cheapest transaction costs so is the least cost way to purchase RunCoach with a credit card. I have now got it working on the new ISP so if you have the browsers required it should work!!
I am perservering with eVend because they provide a cheap selling mechanism, but I have also made an arrangement with the Public Software Library (PSL). They have significantly higher transaction costs but are a more reliable and broader based service. If you can't get aVend to work then the first suggestion is to get in touch with eVend. They are very helpful. If in the end it doesn't work then there is always PSL to fall back on.
